After so long in the shadows, I’m finally stepping into the light and sharing my story. Since 2007, I have made money by specialising in the ante-post markets for the Cheltenham Festival, Grand National, and other big National Hunt races, while bookmakers have spent much of that time trying to stop me. It has taken nearly two decades, but they got there in the end! 

My background as a mathematics graduate, actuary, and spread betting consultant gave me the analytical skills needed to succeed as a pro punter, but analysis only gets you so far – a flair for converting the analytics into accurate odds is necessary to seal the deal.

Known to the bookmakers as “Cheltenham Man”, due to my activity in those markets, I have also enjoyed success in the Grand National, securing three 50/1 winners in the ante-post markets in recent years.

Having completed my first book, I’m back to studying the form, working on my next book, and advising some of the biggest names in the sport. Come along for the ride - I promise you won’t be bored!
